Xunantunich and Cave Tubing from San Pedro

The Nohoch Che’en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve is roughly 75 minutes east of Xunantunich on the return drive. Cave tubing at Nohoch Che’en follows the western-to-central backtrack on the drive east. Gear fitting covers the inner tube, helmet, headlamp, and life vest. The cave float runs 45 minutes to an hour through limestone passages — stalagmites and stalactites mark the cave walls throughout. After the float, there is time to change before the final drive to Belize City and the return connection to San Pedro.
